Liverpool are still able to splash the cash, whilst measly Arséne Wenger would not pay more than 2 million for a decent goalkeeper.
It has been revealed that Arsenal's recent profits have been held back from Arséne's transfer kitty and wisely invested with an African prince, presumed to be a close friend of
Emmanuel "Tinkerbell" Eboué.
The
prince has promised the club millions if the club was happy to pay the fund's transfer fees.
Arsenal has sent their bank details and the funds to the prince, so hopefully by the next transfer window Arséne will have war chest to play with.
