He will always be fondly remembered as one of the best players to grace the English game but, perhaps accidently, only during his time at Arsenal. It's commonly believed that Eddie McGoldrick, subconsciously, did the complete opposite.

Players used to love Arsenal a lot more
Arsenal legend David Rocastle loved Arsenal so much that he subconsciously played rubbish once he left the Gunners in 1992. After winning two league championships with Arsenal he just couldn't produce the performances he was known for at Leeds United, Manchester City and Chelsea on a consistent basis.

Arsenal's Wilshere to step into Politics
Jack Wilshere will step into politics once his legs are broken this season. Arsenal's young upstart has raced into contention for a starting place in the England team and many believe he could be leading the country on and off the field sooner rather than later.
After seeing Aaron Ramsey bored off his tits for the past couple of months, Jack has decided to venture into the political world once he gets a serious injury. It normally takes players 6-12 months to recover from tackles made by the lower teams in the league and then there's the niggling injuries which follow. If this was to coincide with Jennette Arnold (Islington's representative in the London Assembly) resigning, Wilshere has assured his potential constituents that he will be involved.

Arsenal's French disconnection
Arsenal Football Club have long been known for their French connection since the appointment of Arsène Wenger. But Arsenal's manager has never seen the sequel to the similarly named film.
French Connection II is known as one of the few critically acclaimed sequels in film history but Pat Rice only recommended the film to Arsène recently. It is commonly believed that Arsène watched the first instalment of the franchise on film4 about 2 months ago, under the impression it was about Arsenal's double winning side in 97/98 and it isn't.
