Players used to love Arsenal a lot more

Arsenal legend David Rocastle loved Arsenal so much that he subconsciously played rubbish once he left the Gunners in 1992. After winning two league championships with Arsenal he just couldn't produce the performances he was known for at Leeds United, Manchester City and Chelsea on a consistent basis.

He will always be fondly remembered as one of the best players to grace the English game but, perhaps accidently, only during his time at Arsenal. It's commonly believed that Eddie McGoldrick, subconsciously, did the complete opposite.
